At MIcompany you will work at the strategic core of our clients. You will ensure that AI models are effectively used across the organization, by building robust data pipelines and operationalizing models in a scalable manner. Your work serves as the backbone of the AI solution and is essential to create impact at scale. Through collaboration with domain experts, Data Scientists, Cloud Engineers and Software Engineers, you will ensure the effective integration of all parts of our AI solutions.

The Lead Data and AI Engineer will be responsible for leading a team of Data Engineers and AI Specialists to develop and implement cutting-edge data and AI solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and/or AI technologies, as well as the skills to lead complex data and AI projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of data and AI solutions for our clients, including data pipelines, data lakes, machine learning models, and AI applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers and Software Engineers, to develop end-to-end data and AI solutions that meet our clients' needs.
• Mentor and manage a team of data engineers and AI specialists, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure projects are delivered on time.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data and AI technologies and trends, and provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to the team.
• Ensure high quality standards are maintained throughout the development process, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in data engineering and/or AI, with a proven track record of delivering complex data and/or AI projects from start to finish.
• Strong programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with leading data & AI (cloud) technologies.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience managing teams of data engineers.
• Drive to learn and develop yourself, personally and professionally.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
